Rebeca Recatero

Born in Madrid, Rebecca's first encounter with yoga philosophy came through distant echoes from her grandmother - a devoted practitioner and teacher in the 1980s. However, it wasn't until years later, while living in Sydney, that she discovered and immersed herself in the transformative practice of Jivamukti Yoga.

The clarity and peace she found after each practice ignited a burning desire to delve deeper into this philosophy. Since then, Rebecca has been studying the Jivamukti method regularly under the guidance of her teachers, for whom she holds deep gratitude.

Her teaching today reflects both her dedicated daily practice and her meticulous observation of the natural world. Rebecca dedicates her learning to advocating for animal rights, and teaching yoga is her humble way of contributing to a world where all beings can live happier and freer lives.

Her mission is to spread the practice of yoga as deeply and widely as possible. She currently teaches and directs the Jivamukti Yoga School in Madrid.
